Victoria Arduino, is teaming up with friends and event sponsors : Standart Magazine, Hardlines Coffee, Minor Figures and Perfect Ted, to bring an immersive two-day pop up event to Shoreditch this May 16-17.
Caffè Italiano is an immersive experience that brings together design, innovation, and coffee culture in a unique sensory environment. By day, it’s a chilled coffee or matcha. By night, the volume’s up, it’s cocktails, live performances, and high energy. London’s coffee scene, reimagined.
The Victoria Arduino pop-up was created with the aim of reinterpreting Italian tradition through one of London’s most vibrant trends: vintage with a modern twist. This is the essence of Caffè Italiano—a format that brings new life to tradition, where Italian soul meets London’s cosmopolitan spirit.
It’s a creative space that evokes nostalgia while offering a fresh, contemporary perspective.
Design, fashion, music, interiors, art—and of course, coffee—all come together to create a multisensory experience that blends style and culture in a unique and current way.
For us, design has always been at the forefront of everything we do. Caffè Italiano is the perfect moment to showcase the passion and creativity behind our work – bringing the community together to both explore, and celebrate the evolution of Victoria Arduino’s design: a tribute to heritage and timeless beauty.

The leitmotif of the event is the fusion between past and future. Step back in time to enjoy espresso in a bustling Italiano Caffè environment. Catching up with friends over coffee, or indulging in an affogato on a sunny afternoon, surrounded by classic and timeless; furniture, machinery, interiors and music.
You’ll be able to soak up the atmosphere at the stand-up 70’s espresso bar, capture content in a Mid-Century Modern inspired Standard Magazine area, or take home a token of the day from a vintage Fotoautomatica machine. At the event, you’ll have the chance to experience a Super 8 film produced by Standart Magazine in collaboration with Victoria Arduino, set within a 1970s-inspired reading nook.

- Two time slots: 10 AM–3 PM and 5–10 PM (sign-up required via caffe-italiano.co.uk)
- Evening features a “Clock Off” party with Minor Figures and Dropproject
- DJ set and bar takeover by Minor Figures
- Specialty drinks include:
- Affogato Smoothie Stout (limited edition)
- Coffee cocktails and matcha menu using E1 Prima EXP, PRO, and Pure Brew+
- Fun themed drinks: Matcha-Misu and Spicy Matcharita
Saturday, 17th May
- Open to the general public
- Two time slots: 10 AM–3 PM and 5–10 PM
- Evening DJ sets by a London-based collective
- Drinks include:
- Purebrew iced filter coffee (by Hardlines)
- Affogato with Italian gelato
- Iced Macchiatos
- Fun themed drinks: Matcha-Misu and Spicy Matcharita
- Exclusive retro-inspired coffee cocktails from 5–10 PM
