To meet company’s climate action ambitions, Victoria Arduino is focused on reducing emissions and on saving energy in our coffee machines and grinders, offering our partners the possibility to reduce their impact on the planet while granting the best experience in the cup. We do it starting form the Life Cycle Assessment study, that helps us to better understand how to reduce CO2 emissions during the machine’s entire life cycle, passing through new technologies development granting us to improve performance while reducing energy consumption and, finally the OnGreening platform that demonstrate Victoria Arduino products’ compliance with green building rating systemand Green Public Procurement criteria.
As a brand, since 2020 we’ve started a collobaration with OnGreening, an independent platform focused on providing tools, inspiration, knowledge, and an innovative material database, called ProductMAP, to help design and construction industry create green buildings. This partnership demonstrates Victoria Arduino products’ compliance with green building rating systems such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), BREAM, HQM, ESTIDAMA AND HK BEAM PLUS and Green Public Procurement criteria. The platform evaluates products compliant with green building standards and publishes green building products that contribute to the certifications. Through the Ongreening website, Victoria Arduino provides a complete overview of its coffee machines and grinders in terms of sustainability. Architects, engineers, designers, managers, and retail chains can see how our coffee machines potentially contribute to major green building certification systems.
