Harmonizing coffee equipments to the space by choosing Black Eagle Maverick.
The case of Pluto/Liquid of idea.
Some of the greatest experiences around the world happen in a coffee shop. Historically, coffee shops have been places of innovation, offering forward thinkers a safe space to explore new concepts and cultural changes. Even today coffee shop industry embraces this legacy of innovation by adopting new ideas and constantly adapting to changing customer behaviours. Obviously, the quality of the coffee served and new technologies, able to facilitate potential and inspiration creating something profoundly unique, make the difference but visually, the image you send out is very important too: every details of a coffee shop can inspire people and can help the coffee shop to communicate its own vision and values. Victoria Arduino’s Black Eagle Maverick and Mythos work to harmonize a sensorial experience that brings a true sense of design, quality, and, above all else, connection to each and every person who steps through the door of the coffee shop.
“Victoria Arduino Black Eagle Maverick is one of the important foundations of the experience that we offer in store. Everything is built upon the visual experience and the production quality of our products” – said Luke Fan the owner of Pluto/ Liquid of idea, a coffee shop based in the BFC Financial Center, Huangpu District, Shanghai. The cafè is a sort of an art exhibition. Pluto refers to coffee as a “flowing medium”: coffee, food, art and urban space are connected there, taking you to explore the boundaries of imagination.
Pluto/ Liquid of idea. coffee shop, designed by Violet Wang Ruhui (the curator of the first Design Miami Shanghai), as art director, and WAA (we architect anonymous – the famous architectural firm that built the Yinchuan Art Museum), responsible for the space design, created a coherent experiential space, large-scale space sculptures and installations. Black Eagle Maverick, Mythos, all interior design and functional facilities, have been choosen in order to be effectively embedded artworks in the space. Minimal, contemporary and solid design is the key. Black Eagle Maverick lines and shapes are inspired by Victoria Arduino history, but the coffee machine focused on the needs of contemporary roasters, chains and speciality coffee shops. An even lower profile design, to favour customer relations, along with captivating aesthetic elements, such as the stainless-steel rail that echoes the brand logo and solid feet with more contemporary lines fits perfectly and underline the design of Pluto/Liquid of idea.
Different from the common cafe space, several irregular screens are constructed and arranged to create a fluid visual experience in the space, while two Black Eagle Maverick coffee machines and a long station of Mythos grinders are working to offer a great sensorial experience. “What we are trying to achieve product wise is to establish a strong link between the holy trinity: Beans, Milk, and Machine” – said Luke Fan. “Victoria Arduino coffee machines have always been an industry standard in consistency and the answer for the most demanding commercial scenario. Black Eagle Maverick as the new flagship model aesthetically harmonises with our space and design language when it comes to performance it certainly exceeded our expectations in consistency, ease of use, easy to train, rock solid quality and all the extra tricks up in the sleeves other brands and models just don’t have. We shaped our training and production SOP around all the hardwares that we housed in the shop. Black Eagle Maverick helped tremendously to make everything easier”.
