Design Week. Victoria Arduino’s sensory experience in three different locations.

Giulio Cappellini's custom espresso machine Where: Cafezal, Via Solferino 27

On the occasion of Milan Design Week, Victoria Arduino-the world’s leading brand for professional coffee machines and grinders-is showcasing all its tradition and innovative spirit during three sensory experience events involving all our five senses.

A unique coffee machine made with innovative and sustainable technology capable of extracting optimal quality coffee while reducing energy consumption and environmental footprint. Eagle One, in addition to winning the prestigious ADI Design Index 2020 award, was highly appreciated by architect Giulio Cappellini who wanted to create this magnificent machine, his signature version. The customized Eagle One by Giulio Cappellini is ready to catch your eye at Cafezal in Via Solferino 27. The machine represents a mix of history and innovation with the use of recycled wood, eco-friendly resin and aluminum. Absolutely a must-see.

The Black Eagle Maverick, in total matte black with copper details, represents the most innovative extraction technology on the market for espresso, filtered and milk-based drinks. The machine has a minimal, contemporary style and is equipped with cutting-edge technology that can reduce energy consumption by 37 percent compared to the previous model.
After a full day at Design Week, the Coffee Shop on Via Premuda is a great stop where you can taste and enjoy the new Pure Brew beverages, a full-bodied, syrupy filter coffee perfect when used as a base for cocktails. The Coffee Shop also organizes many workshops in collaboration with Aytem and Disain.
From April 18 to 23 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Disain, an Italian company that develops and produces exclusively made in Italy furniture and lighting solutions, will be at Cafezal on Via Premuda for a pair of dedicated workshops. Aytm, a Danish “high fashion” brand specializing in home furnishings, will be at the Coffee Shop for a press conference on April 19 in the afternoon. This will be an opportunity to sample “high fashion” drinks and cocktails just like the brands.

Corso Magenta is located in one of Milan’s most historic neighborhoods, and the Cafezal Coffee Shop at number 96 celebrates the neighborhood’s history by bringing all the innovative aspects of modern coffee shops. To celebrate Milan through past and future, Cafezal’s new location will work with two espresso machines that represent all the charm and historical grandeur of Victoria Arduino, while the modern side of the brand is inspired by the passion of the many coffee lovers around the world. The Athena Leva and Eagle One Prima machines are the stars that will extract Cafezal’s famous signature specialty coffee. TheAthena Leva, Victoria Arduino’s historic, entirely hand-hammered copper Victoria machine with a lever extraction system, will work with Cafezal’s traditional blend while the specialty version of E1 Prima will extract single-origin coffee.
The Coffee Shop’s new location will open during Design Week and is very elegantly decorated with an early 20th century style theme and a touch of modernized details in the mix. “The project defined by architect Barbara Zanetti, in collaboration with RAW&Company for the furniture, aims to represent Milan in Milan, so we made an important choice of machinery that celebrates the history of Milan in the early 1920s combined with the modern and contemporary metropolitan city it is today. Athena Leva and Eagle One Prima, in my opinion, are the best representation of these two aspects of the city.” Says Carlos Bitencourt, owner of Cafezal Coffee Shops. Cafezal Corso Magenta is a must-stop during Design Week to enrich your sensory experience with special single-origin coffees extracted from the best coffee machines that have painted the history of design since the early 1900s.
