How does Eagle One save energy and reduce environmental impact while maintaining high quality and performance?
– Reducing energy consumption by 35 percent compared to espresso machines in the same category: the new NEO (New Engine Optimization) motor enables the same performance while improving energy efficiency. The innovative feature lies in the very name NEO because it is a new approach to heating water for coffee extraction. The NEO engine uses instantaneous heating technology that requires smaller volumes and boilers because only the water needed is heated. The boilers are also insulated and coated with an innovative insulation material that prevents heat loss and increases energy efficiency. The procedure is efficient but also simple: the barista only has to set the temperature from the display. The machine’s electronics do the rest, keeping the temperature stable throughout the brewing process. Productivity and performance remain the same, but consumption is significantly reduced by 35 percent compared to espresso machines in the same category.

The Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study on Eagle One showed that the new engine and components and materials provide a 23% reduction in environmental impact (in terms of kg of CO2 emissions) compared to espresso machines in the same category.
